Business/Industry - Voting Member

Membership shall be limited to companies or individuals that are engaged in the manufacture, research, development, supply of products, and the sale of products or processes based on life science products or research.

All the employees of a business/industry member company are eligible to participate in the Association training programs and industry events. Representatives from business/industry members may seek LSAM Board of Directors nominations and have voting privileges at the LSAM Annual General Meeting.

Business/Industry Membership fees are determined by the number of employees and/or revenue.

Please note, membership fees for 2012/2013 are for a 15 month period.

Affiliate Membership

Persons or organizations who supply or provide services to life science organizations, and whose principal business is not in the life science sector.

An Affiliate member is not entitled to receive notice of, or to attend or vote at any meeting of members. The Board may extend an invitation to representatives of Affiliate members to attend a members’ meeting, but such persons shall have no vote.

Representatives of Affiliate members are not eligible to be nominated or to sit on the Board.

Institutional Membership

This level of membership is dedicated to University faculties, teaching hospitals, research institutes, and other not-for-profit agencies.

Company Profile

Upon receipt of the application you will be emailed a company profile form to be completed. This description will be used as part of our new online searchable database. The new website will provide prospective clients, investors, and partners an opportunity to search for Manitoba companies, based on business interests. We will also require a high resolution version of your logo for the website.
