A Winnipeg company that makes medical imaging devices looks like it has beaten the odds and is poised to start shipping its next-generation devices around the world.
Five-year-old Cubresa Inc., which has a device ready to go to market, just closed a $3.5-million financing deal and hired a Boston-based CEO who's plugged into Cubresa's specialty market. It expects to double its Winnipeg workforce to 20 in 2016.
