Sequus is a management and organizational consulting, education, training and publishing company. It assesses needs, designs the response in consultation with its clients, delivers the service to the client's specifications, and assesses the results. Its years of experience means it rarely has to start from zero. Sequus is constantly evaluating the results of this work and passing on what they have learned to our clients. They have a Mission, Vision and a Set of Core Value statements by which they invite clients to judge them.
Sequus was created by its four founders in 1993. They all worked together at the Manitoba Institute of Management (MIM), a private, non-profit corporation created by the business community of Manitoba but with a world-wide reputation for excellence in a number of fields.
The four founders, Glen Husack, Ralph Brown, Brian Trump and Al Holmes collectively have well over 100 years of consulting experience behind them. They cover a broad range of services and have learned to draw in others when they need to.
Their clients include large financial service, retail, manufacturing, communications, and distribution companies as well as the tiny 'corner storeā businesses. They also work with large international non-profit organizations as well as small volunteer community groups. Their client base extends from municipal, to provincial, to federal, to multilateral government departments and agencies. It also ranges from local cooperatives to provincial and national cooperative coalitions. It includes First Nation communities in the remote parts of Canada and sophisticated, urban aboriginal organizations operating on a national scale.
