Jenifer Bartman Business Advisory Services is an independent firm providing services in the areas of business advisory and interim executive engagements. Areas of service include business planning, financing and transaction assistance, investor material and presentation coaching, financial analysis, and operational improvement.
An experienced senior executive in the venture capital industry, the firm's Founder & Principal held the broad based role of Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at ENSIS Management Inc. for over nine years. As one of three shareholders, she led the closing of the sale of ENSIS Management Inc. to a national fund manager. Prior to this role, she was a management consultant for a number of years, most notably with KPMG.
Ms. Bartman is actively involved in the venture capital and technology based industries in Canada, including: a longstanding relationship with the Canadian Venture Capital Association (CVCA), as Sponsor and Host of the National Professional Development Videoconference Series (Manitoba site), member of the Professional Development Committee, and formerly with the Annual Conference and Regional Networking committees; the Instructor and Author of Technology Commercialization Management II, a course in the University of Manitoba's Intellectual Property and Technology Commercialization Management certificate program; and a consultant in CMC Canada's IRAP/MAS Program.
Ms. Bartman recently co-authored the book "Master Your Investment in the Family Business: How to Increase After Tax Wealth", and is a Distinguished Faculty Member at the Knowledge Bureau, a national education institute providing professional development to the financial advisory and tax industries. Ms. Bartman holds the designations of Chartered Accountant and Certified Management Consultant and is a graduate of the University of Manitoba.
