International Benchmarking Conference

Dr. William Mak, known within bioscience education, as the “godfather of Canadian biotechnology education”, will be one of the keynote speakers at the International Benchmarking Conference, March 2 at The Roblin Centre, 160 Princess Ave.

After spending most of his academic and professional career in Canada, Dr. Mak returned to Hong Kong to work on genomics projects and continued his world class work on biotech education as well. Hong Kong is one of five international speakers talking about education in their countries which score high on international assessments of student achievement. In addition to Hong Kong, Finland, Singapore, Australia and Taiwan, there will be speakers from Canada, the United States and Lesotho. Click here for more information about the conference.
