In this concise one-day course, you will learn terminology and concepts from the life science industry, to assist employees who are employed within the industry in non-scientific roles. Topics will include drug development, manufacturing processes, testing techniques, and basic scientific principles from the drug, natural health product, and life science industries. The regulatory requirements for manufacturing and sale of health products in Canada will be discussed. Geared towards employees who do not have a strong science background but are employed within the scientific community.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Nicole Schepp, a GMP expert at Compliant Approach Inc., has worked with Health Canada for over 6 years, and in the pharmaceutical industry for over 12.

Her experience working in R&D, Method Development, Veterinary drugs, Biologics, NHPs, and as a consultant makes Schepp a valuable GMP resource and educator. She brings valuable experience and energy to the classroom, providing interesting, value-added, and relevant material to participants.

Scheep currently holds a MSc in Pharmacy from the University of Manitoba, and a BS from the University of Winnipeg.
